As this year draws to an end, only one pep assembly remains to finish off the school year. Pep club and its sponsor Mr. Nick Beckmann are organizing this spring’s pep assembly.
“This pep assembly is mainly about endings and recognitions. It will be the seniors’ and Mr. Kasper’s last one before they all leave,” said Mr. Beckmann.
Among other activities in this pep assembly is the “dating game.”
“It’s based off of the old television show, and it’s just a fun little game where we’re going to give some guys the chance to impress the ladies and get a date,” said Mr. Beckmann.
Some of the groups performing at this pep assembly are the winter drumline and winter guard.
Sophomore Charlie Hall is a member of the winter drumline and thinks it is going to be a great performance.
“I’m usually not excited for pep assemblies, but I’m excited for this one because I get to perform in it,” said Hall.
Students are also starting to express their excitement for this event.
“Pep assemblies are so exciting, and I can’t wait to see the winter drumline perform,” said freshman David Aubuchon.
