In Intro to Business, Danielle Weber has the students do a “Shark Tank” project. The students will design a useful object to present to the class. They have to make slides about this object and add claims about how they made it and why this would be a good tool. During this project, they will work in groups to learn partnership in creating things. Weber explains why this project is beneficial to the students’ futures and what they will learn from this.
“I think it encourages them to have entrepreneurial thinking and think about problems in their own lives and in society so they can create solutions. This can also show them how to make a small business,” Weber said.
The class will be working on this project for 2 weeks and then will have a final presentation in front of the class.
