On April 29, hosted its first Culture Fair. The Culture Fair took place in the learning commons, many students participated in setting up tables to represent their culture. These tables had things like pieces of art or artifacts, poster boards with information, and food that showed what their culture was and what its importance was. Senior Nuwelin Dagne discusses how important it has been to her to stay involved in her culture.
“I think my parents have instilled in me that I should be proud of who I am… I think I find it very important to value my identity as an Ethiopian,” Dagne said.
