Senior Madison Scott has been in publications for 2 years now. She joined her junior year and has loved the class ever since. This class lets her work at her own pace and even express her own ideas through pictures and videos. Along with all of this, the class is also a fun and welcoming environment.

Senior year can be difficult for any athlete, causing heightened emotions throughout the season, and for senior Cooper Troha it’s no different. While sitting on the bench, calming down from a tension filled game, Troha reflects on his plays. Although his emotions can cause minor issues during games, Troha still believes that they help him be the best player he can be.

“Showing my emotion on the field pushes me to play harder and stay focused,” Troha said. “I use it to turn any moment into motivation to do good.”

After a difficult season, Troha is ready for the bittersweet moment of retiring his cleats and saying goodbye to the Francis Howell Central soccer program.
