Varsity cheerleaders wrap up their final practices.

The time has come for the varsity cheerleaders to put forth all of their hard work during the much anticipated performance at the Edward Jone’s Dome on Sat., Sept. 10. The girls has been practicing three times a week to prepare themselves for this event, but they still feel as though more time is need in order for the team to feel completely ready.

“There’s still a little bit of work that needs to be put in,” junior Renee Sanford said. “Most of that work relies on the communication between stunt groups.”

Still keeping a positive note, Sanford feels once they put in those final practices as well as develop better methods of communication between the team as a whole, they will finally be ready to perform in front of their Spartan fans.

“I’m excited to be able to perform on the Rams football field,” Sanford said. “I feel that once we work together as a team, we’ll be more than ready.”
