On Sept. 8, a group of senior girls will be opening for the Howell Preview Marching Show. The event will begin at 7p.m., when six to eight seniors from the Women’s Chamber Choir sing the National Anthem. The show is an event to showcase the talent in store for each Howell school before the season opens this weekend. All three high schools will preform an opening. The event will be held at our school, and is a yearly tradition that our seniors cannot wait to take part in.
“I think we will have a really great year, Mrs. Baird has some awesome goals for the choirs, and is teaching us really helpful skills, which is a really big part of auditions and competitions,” senior Kayla Kammermeyer said.
Kammermeyer will be performing in the event this evening, Kammermeyer goes on to say, “I’m really excited for today! It’s my last year here and I can’t wait to open the showcase. It’s going to be really fantastic, along with our season this year,” she said. “We’re preparing to go to state and this will be an amazing start to reach that goal.”
