Cultural diversity collects costumes

On September 14, the Cultural Diversity Club met to decorate boxes to be used in their Costume Drive event.

The Club decorated large boxes that will be placed in elementary and middle schools in the area for students to donate their new and used costumes in.

“The boxes are going to be collected in the first or second week of October,” said Mrs. Lisa Milos, sponsor of the Cultural Diversity Club.

After the costumes are collected the members of the club cleans, stitches and fixes the costumes up. Once they are done fixing the costumes they will give them to a charity. They are still looking into charities including Boys and Girls club.

Any students wishing to bring in costumes to also donate can bring them to Mrs. Milos’ class.
