Epsilon Beta and the Diversity Club combined forces to showcase students’ cultures, giving all students a voice. On April 27, the first culture fair was held in the library, where students were able to sign up to participate in the event, bringing food, drinks, music and more from various cultures. The countries that were represented were China and Taiwan, Nepal, Assyria, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kenya, and India. Sponsor of the Diversity Club, Caitlin Crain describes her passion for helping students be themselves.
“I really think that we should always celebrate diversity. Always give people a place in school, and then also to have everybody be seen,” said Crain.
According to Crain, the Culture fair will become an annual event, taking place next in the spring of the 26-27 school year.
