With the end of the year right around the corner and students studying for finals and AP tests, Areté likes to hold a field day where everyone in the club can go outside to the football field and hang out with friends, play on inflatables and play outdoor games. Advisor Laurie Fay has been helping run Field Day for three years and loves the idea of all the students getting time to hang out and destress before finals.
“Field Day is to celebrate students who are making good choices as involved members of our school and community, so it is a nice way to do that as well as have some fun as the school year wraps up. Fay says. “I think providing an opportunity to celebrate those students who make good decisions and care to be involved at FHC and in Cottleville. “
Field Day is an annual thing and will continue to go on as long as Fay stays att Frances Howell Central.
