Fighting to keep the lead after winning their first set against Fort Zumwalt West, the freshman girls volleyball team pushed through and won the second set on Sept. 14. Freshman setter Emme Fry, one of the captains, believes that being available for her teammates is what it takes to win each game
“As a setter, mainly just how to make the ball most hittable for my team and like bettering the ball, but like mainly just how to have my team succeed,” Fry said.
The team is looking forward to their next game against Francis Howell North on Oct. 3 where the girls hope to take home another win.
