Why We Improve

During varsity soccer’s game against Troy High School, Carter Radeke runs down the field with the ball. Radeke then quickly passes the ball to a teammate where they later scored a goal and won the game 2-0.

Varsity boys soccer took another landslide win against Troy High School on Oct 5. They won the game with ease with a score of  2-0; though, Troy really pushed the team to improve. Afterward, junior Cooper Troha shared why he continues to train and improve his skills in soccer.

“I’d say my teammates are my motivation,” Troha said. “They’re the ones that make high school soccer enjoyable and worth playing.”

Even after their season has ended, varsity boys soccer are ready to continue to improve and win more in their next season. They are especially excited for more team bonding and workouts together.

During the game at Francis Howell, sophomore Jackson Chartrand tackles the opposing team. Chartrand was able to stop the play and prevent the opposing team from gaining more yardage.
Ending the Season With Optimism
Junior Aiden Bellanger receives a water bottle from the water boy and takes a moment to hydrate before halftime ends. It is very important to stay hydrated during any physical activity and it is the water boy’s responsibility to fill and carry bottles to have on hand for all the players.

Junior Marion Rulo, along with the rest of the juniors on the varsity cheer squad, lead their grade level in the “FHC Say What” chant. At every pep assembly, the different grade levels battle each other to see who is the loudest.
