Senior Night is a special night for Spartans, especially the seniors, because it’s a send-off to the seniors as they walk down a tunnel surrounded by their teammates, with their parents next to them getting awarded for their time with the school, celebrating their bonds with their teammates. Senior Garo Sams senior night experience was impactful to him because it was his last home game.
“It means a lot more to me because it’s the last home game I’m going to have, so it means I need to do a lot more. I need to make sure I win… The most memorable part would have to be the fight of all my teammates, how all of them were working as hard as they could; it was a dogfight. They were all scrapping,” said Sams.
The next wrestling event is Jan. 28 against Fort Zumwalt South High at their gym at 6 pm.
