On March 13, the FHC cafeteria filled with art lovers of all kinds. Parents, grandparents, friends, and siblings all attended the FHC Fine Art Festival where students displayed their art and provided fun activities for guests to engage in. The festival happens twice a year and it is always looked forward to for participants and the members of NAHS, the National Art Honors Society, who put together the event. Second year NAHS member, junior Megan Chiu comments on her experience within NAHS and the overall atmosphere of the Fine Arts Festival.
“It’s a place where students are able to have fun and see the creative ways people express themselves,” Chiu said, “[to show] how hard they work throughout the year about their own projects and what they’re proud of, to display them or even sell them”
While the next festival will take place during the next school year, watch for art made by FHC students on social media or in schools.
