For their last social of the year on April 15, Epsilon Beta hosted a blackout poetry event. This process involves selecting a page from a book, article, or other prewritten text and highlighting interesting words. After, you blackout the other words to create your unique poem. Junior Sivani Kandel thought the process was fun, but there was something better about the social than the activity.
“I really enjoy Epsilon Beta socials because I can hangout and talk with my friends outside of class,” said Kandel. “It’s just a nice break from the school day before I start homework when I get home.”
With the school year coming to a close, many clubs and activities are preparing to say goodbye to their senior friends and begin advertising for next year. Epsilon Beta is still accepting officer applications for the next school year. Details can be found in the library.
