The Spartan Volleyball team competed against the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars on April 23. During their game, the JV team showcased its skills on and off the court, keeping the energy high with many chants. With a different set of chants for varsity and JV teams, the FHC Volleyball team has a wide arsenal of phrases. Sophomore Galen Davis believes that the chants bring the team closer together.
“They make us feel like a team, we know we have each other’s backs and we can beat the team we’re up against,” said Davis.
The boys JV Volleyball team will play against Liberty High on April 30 at Liberty High School.
