The volleyball season is in full swing and on April 23, the boys varsity team versed the Fort Zummalt West Jaguars. Although they lost the second set, the Spartans made a swift comeback and won the match 3-1. The team celebrated the victory but junior Caleb Dolan emphasizes the importance of remaining humble even after a well-played game.
“Dealing with a win really involves obviously celebrating while staying grounded to avoid any overconfidence of cockiness.”
No matter the game, Dolan expresses that “there is room for improvement on every aspect of volleyball. I think it’s important to celebrate briefly and then refocus on my future goals I want to see out of myself.”
The boys’ next game will be on May 5, against Troy Buchanan High School.
