Art Club looks to win again

The Art Club’s room is cluttered with chicken wire covered in tissue paper the color of blue and silver. What they are building isn’t yet complete, but after a few after school sessions, it will be. It is that time of year again: Homecoming.

That means building the Homecoming float for many clubs around the school. For the Art Club, they are certain they have it in the bag, since the club has won the award for best float every year so far.

Sophomore Vanessa Cook, an Art Club member, is excited to build the float.

“I’m really glad to be a part of it,” Cook said.

Art Club will be meeting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in room 243 after school until the float is done. To join, just show up in the meeting room.
