The varsity girls volleyball team takes all three sets in a dominating win against Fort Zumwalt West on Sept. 14. Senior Alexa Sansone knows that it’s not luck getting them the wins, but their mindsets going into the game, and their chemistry as a team.
“[We’re] just trying to get the job done… because we know how we can play at our best level,” Sansone said. “We all hold each other to a really high standard… We know what we can expect out of each other. So we definitely pick each other up in moments that we’re not playing to our expectations.”
The team is looking towards their next game against Francis Howell North on Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the large gym, where they hope for another dominating win.
