After passing child development one, many students decide to follow up with child development 2. Students in child development two practice skills which include learning how to teach children ages three to five. Children ages three to five come into the school for “Mini Spartan Pre-school”. Teachers practice activities with the kids, like gross motor skills, math skills, art, and even science skills. Many students at FHC fall in love with this class, senior Claire Vallie expresses more about her passion towards the elective.
“Being able to help kids learn and enjoy themselves really just makes my day,” Vallie said.
Students in child development continue to grow their passion for teaching through the course.
