With a strong start to their first set, the JV girls volleyball team dominated over their hard fought game, and earned a 2-0 win over Fort Zumwalt West on Sept. 14th. Freshman McKenzy Held talks about how the team stays motivated during their games.
Held said the team “tries to ignore the last point and [they] usually try to stay positive and think about the next play and how [they] can improve,”Held said. The team’s energy stayed positive throughout the game, and it showed.
After a strong start to the season, the team is looking forward to maintaining a strong and motivated mindset. Their next game will be against St. Dominic on Monday, Oct. 2.
