Francis Howell Central VS Francis Howell North, the schools have faced each other for years, the matches bring more anticipation each time. This match was no different, after previously losing the first game of the season to North, Central was ready for the fight. Both teams played vigorously, battling for points and control of the ball. Sets that are normally played to 25 have been pushed past that, Central wins the last set 26-24. The JV Captain, sophomore Bella Minks tells what she does as a captain to keep the team playing their best.
“As a captain, I have to make sure that I’m running the court. I like to always be talking.” Minks said “Just watching out and trying to help people do their jobs so I can also do mine.”
Continuing their season, the girls’ volleyball team is working hard and preparing to win. The JV team will compete at Liberty High School, on Oct 7th.
