Muschler's and Olson’s turn was full of laughter as people guessed their word.

Seminar is usually a quiet place, but for those who attend the library’s book club once a quarter it is full of laughter and warmth. On Dec. 10, a handful of students attended the book club and spent their seminar playing charades together, full of words included or regarding the gateway books this school year. Those who attended had a lot of fun and encouraged others to join, freshman Annika Olson reflects on the enjoyment and memories spent with friends and while reading.

“I went because a friend invited me,” Olson said, “There were snacks and games, and there were a bit of people I knew, and that was pretty fun. ”

The next book club meeting will be held on March 3, 2026 in the library during seminar. Read two of the Gateway books and come down to have snacks and have a fun time.
