With winter slowly coming to an end, the basketball season is as well. Over halfway through the season, the Girls JV Basketball team is working hard to make their season great. Fighting against Troy Buchanan on Jan. 9, the team lost with a score of 49-26. Although the team lost, they continue to stay positive and work hard to try and get a win in the next game. Freshman forward and FHC JV Basketball player Kinley Hiles talks on how the team takes a loss and uses it to work harder.
“I’d say we are committed and hard working for our wins,” Hiles said, “Even if we get a loss, we bounce right back and try to get [a win] the next game”.
The team’s next home game is on Jan. 20 vs St. Charles West.
