Ava Reyes is a third year Staff Photographer. Reyes loves sports photography, her favorite sports to take pictures of being basketball, football, and soccer. In her free time she works at Firehouse Subs, she loves hanging out with her friends and playing with her black cat, Winnie.
![Having a job is mostly about making a quick buck for most teenagers, but for senior Demarkus Allison he stays for the friendships and community he has made with his coworkers. Allison spends his free time working at Firehouse Subs, a sandwich shop where he has worked since the summer of 2024. Allison expresses why he has and plans to stay at Firehouse Subs.
“[My favorite part of the job is] the environment, and mostly my coworkers and managers,” Allison said.
Allison has a litany of tasks to do each shift but he continues to work hard no matter what position he has put on that night.
